THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING
Well here we are and the new year could run off and leave us with little change in our lives! Before we know it 2015 will have come and gone just like 2014.
This writer believes that the number one way you can make 2015 even better than 2014 is to THINK POSITIVE in every circumstance that you face.
In order to think positively one must change their attitude, change their thoughts, and visualize positive outcomes.
Let's make this simple, imagine that a baseball player is getting ready to step up to the plate. Every thought and each visualization WILL determine his success. He must step up to the plate believing that he is going to get a base hit and he must visualize himself doing so.
If on the other hand, and I would never think like this, he steps up to the plate wondering whether he will hit the ball or not and sees himself striking out, then he is much more likely to do so. Self visualization is a very powerful tool and a key element that leads to the power that each of us has if we will become positive thinkers.
Who do you think is more likely to get a job when they go on an interview? The person who thinks they have little chance or the person that believes they will get the job and can visualize getting and doing the job.
So what is it that is really important to you? Most people answer this question by making a list that we will call a "priority" list.
My list looks like this:
1) God
2) Family & Friends
3) Work
4) Hobbies.
Your list may be different and that is okay. If you are not sure about your priorities then a good guide is to realize where you spend most of your time. In other words what do you think about the most. Your age and stage of life many times determines what you think about the most.
When I was in college my list was quite different than it is today. I spent a great deal of time thinking about girls and since I was a wrestler I thought a great deal about the up-coming meets and tournaments.
No matter what stage of life you are in you can have a great impact on your happiness by becoming a positive thinking person.
Many of us believe in the power of positive thinking but we do not know where to start. Here is a link to an article that will get you started to a happier, healthier life. http://www.successconsciousness.com/index_000009.htm
Have a happy 2015 and begin today as you decide to live a happier, healthier life by "Thinking Positive."
It is definitely your life and you can live it the way you want. Free choice and all of our freedoms are very important. If you want to lead a happier and healthier life, this is one of the ways that you can make changes that will lead to that end!
