There Is Always Hope :

When all else fails, hope is something that we cling to. It is a beacon that calls us at our highest and lowest moments in life. We share in the hope of others as well. At the final moment of despair, after you shed your last teardrop, you muster up hope.

Within you, you find the courage and the strength to get back up. Something is different when you arise; it is a new hope that has sprung alive. You muster up the courage to pull your thoughts together and look at things with a new perspective, one that will create a new avenue for you to go down.

With this new hope brings upon new dreams, new goals and a sense that everything will get better, and it will. Don't worry if you have lost all hope, you can still get it back. You have to have the courage to find it within yourself. There is always hope, that is the one thing that no one can take from you. You only rob yourself of it by not believing in yourself.

For some, hope is moment to moment, or day by day. They are strong by continuing through their journey while odds are stacked against them. Through hope you can see yourself with new strength, new courage, and a sense that you can tackle anything that this crazy life throws at you. Hope is like a huge piece of glass, beautiful yet frail. However you feel about it, the one thing that you should never do, is take someone's hope away. Do not ever shatter their dream.

Hope is found everywhere! You just have to look for it. There might be days when you don't feel it, or see it, but it's there. Hope to me means that there is an underlying strength not yet found until something so overwhelming happens to you. It is a part of your soul that reassures you that you have what it takes to make it, and you will. The determination shines through once you find hope again.

No matter how large or how small you hope for, it can come true. Through your divine will, courage and determination, you can always have hope. Be kind and gentle souls that reach out and spread more hope where it is lacking.

There is always, always hope! Don't give up, it is there, just look harder.

What If Everything Is Grace?

Years ago one of my first spiritual teachers told me "gratitude is not a feeling it is action." Then Patrick asked, "If our demonstration of gratitude is dependent on feeling grateful, what good is it?" It's a story I've told to more than a few people for whom I have provided counsel, and have written about it several times.

Recently it returned to me from a spiritual student, but in altered form. Jenny told me, "Grace is an action, not a feeling." In the instant it was uttered it struck a chord deep within me. Over many years I have heard grace referenced over and over again, invariably associated with some good that has appeared, and typically with pleasant feelings.

As an aside, I'm smiling now as I recall the comments of another spiritual student, Michael. "What the hell, Ron! If there is something called grace, everything has to be grace. Dammit, you can't just say that about the good stuff!" And yet, the notion of grace as action looks far beyond feelings and pleasantry. In meditating upon these ideas, a still small voice spoke.

Grace is an action, not a feeling. Grace is not conferred upon us, nor do we live by Grace. Rather, it is living demonstrated as Grace. Grace lives as and through us. My meditative response to the voice was to get still quieter and to move more deeply. And in that expansive space, even greater clarity came unbidden.

There is only One. Nothing is excluded or excludable. Every breath is demonstration of Grace. Each step and misstep is imbued with Grace. There is no good nor evil that is separate and apart from Grace. A deep humility fell upon me as tears came. What if everything is Grace?

Seeing True

The secret is in becoming an observer to Grace in action. In order to do so we must relinquish our perceptions and beliefs; we must see through new eyes.

Seeing True in Action

Let's be honest. The proposition that Grace is in everything is a very difficult one, if not outright heresy. We are so deeply attached to what some have called the "Santa Claus God" that only delivers gifts on our terms and according to our understanding. We so resist the idea that something which is not obviously good and pleasant could possibly by a part of Grace. This is called a closed mind.

In light of the challenge, here are a few questions with which to begin our inquiry. Am I willing to consider that Grace is ever present in every manifestation? If not, what would it take for me to become willing?

Preparing Yourself for Opportunities :

There are several times in your life when you would have taken advantage of opportunities that came, and there are also times when you missed good opportunities. Sometimes people miss great opportunities because they were not adequately prepared when such opportunities came. In this article, I will be showing you some simple ways you can prepare yourself properly for opportunities.

Do not be misled by the simplicity of these ideas, rather put them to practice and you will be amazed by the results you will get. Pay attention to every point.

Increase in knowledge

There is no better way to prepare for opportunities than to constantly increase your knowledge. To a lot of people, reading is a no go area. They never have time for studies. If you do not have the right knowledge, you may not be able to identify an opportunity when it comes. Read wide and deep.

Improve your skills

No matter how skillful you are, there is always room for improvement. You would have heard several people say that talent is very cheap and common. There is no skill or talent you have that is unique to you, several other people have similar skills. The better you get at what you do, the higher your chances of spotting opportunities. Keep getting better, keep learning daily.

Keep an open mind

You have to keep your mind open, free from every form of preconception. There are a lot of opportunities people miss because that have refused to be flexible in their thinking. Sometimes for new things to happen, you need to keep an open mind. You need to be able to try new ideas and walk through new paths.

Focus on the future

The person who spends time looking at the past will have a problem spotting opportunities in the future. It doesn't matter how many opportunities you may have missed in the past, look ahead as there would be many more in the future. No matter what challenges you may be facing now, keep your focus on the future. Stay focused.

Remain positive

Staying positive has many advantages for someone hoping to make the best of opportunities. When you keep a positive mindset, you give energy to your mind. You start to see things differently from your counterparts. There is a direct link between positivity and creativity. Where negative minded people see challenges, positive minded people see great opportunities. Program yourself to always stay positive.

You must remember that there are always opportunities to grow and succeed in life, the big question is will opportunities meet you prepared? It is your assignment to ensure that you are always ready and adequately prepared for opportunities when they come.

One Stormy Night :

It was a stormy night when she walked through the forest ambivalent about the way she had to choose amidst all the darkness. Behind her lied the battles she had fought and ahead of her lied the unknown. The thunder was screaming at her asking her to go home but this wasn't one of those nights when she would give up so she picked herself up and walked ahead without compunction.

She walked ahead only to find that she wasn't alone and there were many like her finding a way to the city. While some walked with her for a long distance, some left her midway. It hurt her to see those people leave who once upon a time made big promises to her. But sorrow of the people that got lost in the darkness did not stop her as the conflagration of determination continued to grow inside her.

The clouds became wild and the rainfall showed no sign of ending. The wolves and the birds sang the dirge and this sent a chill down her spine. The rain drops fell contritely like stones falling on her body and the falling trees became her obstacles.

She tried to move those trees but it was all in vain. She was in a dilemma again. Should she retrace her path or endeavor to move the trees as long as she can? To help her some companions reached out their hands while some just pretended to care.

In the forest in the middle of the night she realized that this was her journey and there was no one that could help her but herself. Time passed but the tree lied there in the same place reminding her that she had failed. Once again she rose with determination and gathered all the strength she had.

Finally she achieved what she wanted and moved ahead. Now she could see the sun rising and her destination coming closer. She couldn't wait anymore and she ran towards her goal, towards the road. She did survive that night and the morning took her to a new destination and a new life.

She never saw the people that left her again but thanked God everyday for the people who stayed with her till the end. She is now ready to face any other obstacle with grace and a happy face. One stormy night she became a warrior.

"She is you. She is us. She is me."

If You Feel Alone and Confused Keep on Reading :

This past month has had one of the most expansive, yet challenging days for me. When you start questioning and observing your past illusions, it seems that fear knocks the door wanting to get in. I have observed that whenever we fully commit to embrace the unknown, doubt and fear show up almost inevitably.

Being authentic can sometimes make you feel lonely, especially when there are moments in which you can perceive yourself standing outside the "reality" created by societal standards. Paradoxically, we are never alone, as we are always home and held.

When you've perceived most of your life through dark lenses without even knowing it, and all of a sudden you realize that life is so much brighter without them, all you want to do is share your new found vision with everyone else. But you cannot force people into taking their own dark glasses off, all you can do is stand strong and embody your new reality, which will create a ripple effect on those around you.

Just as you think you've made some huge steps, life brings you more opportunities to immerse into a bigger and more expansive picture. When there is a will there is a way, and when you strive to embody you Light and Love to its fullest expression, life will support you in the most unimaginable and extraordinary ways. When you remember who you truly are, you can let Infinite Intent express through you in the most exquisite way.

Your potential never ends, as there is always more perfection and beauty emerging from you at each moment. This is one of the greatest gifts and mysteries of life. Even if you feel lost, confused and alone, you must trust that life is benevolent and is always expressing its perfection and meticulous care to you.

Through acceptance, trust and surrender, you gain confidence in yourself and let the indivisible One Life show you the big picture. Be OK with the fact that you cannot easily understand this perfection simply because you don't see the big picture right now.

But rest assured that in surrendered trust, you WILL know without the need to understand the details. Perfection is fluid as all renews in each moment, and the details themselves are mere starting points that change with ever greater awareness...

Today, I invite you to take 5 minutes, relax you body, and release the need of having to know with the small mind that fears the unknown. Feel yourself held in the vastness and perfection of the Divine, accompanied by a loving force that never leaves you alone.

Feel this love pouring into you like raindrops falling from a beautiful sky. And go throughout your day knowing nothing and trusting everything. Are you ready to shine bright and share your Power with the world? I'd love to hear from you, so leave your comments below.

Trusting the unknown,

Monica

How To Protect Yourself From Everything :

Fear. Yes that simple emotion is responsible for a lot of your problems. If you absolutely have no fear then nothing can happen to you. Yes its that fear, that horrible feelin which produces more of it. Yes fear is the reason when someone falls he manages to break his bones or even dies. You have to be fearless because life is an adventure where fortune favours the brave.

I'm not saying that if I fall I cannot die. I may, but so many times I've slipped from rocks, fallen from my motorcycle, dived inside turbulent waters when raining. I am still alive. I have had many fights with many men single handed. I am still alive.

Not because I am as strong as Batista but because dogs can't bite you when you don't have any fear of them. I can't understand this law of life but it is 100 percent true. If you think that you can take on a small guy who is fearless, think again.

If you are alone in your home and you are feeling scared, imagine yourself as a big monster that even ghosts are afraid of. If you are feeling sick imagine that big muscular monster again. When I fall from my bike I never feel fear. I just feel that I should act quickly.

So I act and I am saved. When someone confronts me I am least bothered about what he's gonna do to me. All I will be thinking is how to teach him a lesson. I don't care about how many friends he has around him even if they are many of them. Usually they are all chickens.

However a complete absence of failure not only protects you physically but it also protects your financial and your love life. It saves you from diseases also. I know a man who is diagnosed HIV positive and yet even after suffering from Japanese encephalitis he managed to live on.

My smaller brother had a skin disease so I never slept in his bed and never used the towels he used. After a few weeks I was suffering from the same disease whereas my elder brother never contracted that disease even though he was careless.

Even I feel fear but not in physical matters. I feel fear in other things and where I feel fear I usually lose. After I realised this fact of life I have started to see things as they are and not run away from the imaginations of my mind. I am not saying that you won't die if you jump from a helicopter and have no fear.

What I am saying is that if you have a parachute and it malfunctions and if you are fearless you have a greater chance of surviving than if you peed in your pants. Daniel in the den lived because he had no fear of the lions. He trusted God so much that the lions could not even scratch him.
