How and When to Share the Law of Attraction With Others :

If you have been a law of attraction student for a while, you know that others become interested in what you are doing. On the surface, it may appear to be that they see changes in you or your life. In reality, it may be that they are being put on your path by universal intelligence to learn from you and to teach you something.

You may be eager to share your practice, or you may be very secretive about it. The level of your openness sometimes depends on your personality, as well as the support or lack of support that you have received in the past. There is no right or wrong way to be; it depends on you, your personality and your situation.

The Eager Students

Some people will come to you with open minds, ready to receive. When someone comes to you in such an open manner, it gives you the opportunity to share and play the role of the teacher. There are many ways to share with someone like this.

You could share or show a video; "The Secret" is a good choice for a beginner. You could send them an article or two. You could provide your testimony on how your law of attraction practice has worked for you. Helping an eager student learn about the Law is an enjoyable experience.

The Skeptics

Some will come to you in a skeptical state of mind. They will range from mildly skeptical to downright hostile. These individuals have come to your path in order to be your teachers. Their words will not teach you; it will be your experience in dealing with them that teaches you.

You will learn about your inner strength and conviction from them. It's best not to get into an argument with a skeptic as you will only both dig in your heels. If they are going to learn anything, it's going to be through watching how you live your life.

Put your best foot forward, and show them the same unconditional love that you would show to anyone else. Give up the need to be right. You can say neutral things like, "That is an interesting point of view" in response to their criticisms or opinions.

Sharing Through Example

The best way to share your practice with others is through the example of how you live your life. Always be appreciative and grateful, and never needlessly complain, gossip or criticize. The only time it is necessary to complain is when you are talking with someone who can do something about it.

Give well, and receive equally well. The term "give" here applies to everything, including time, talents and finances.

Esther Hicks, channeling Abraham, says it well: "Words don't teach, only life experience teaches". Your words are only meaningful to others when they are consistent with the life you lead.

Success Stories

Success Stories are a great way to share your experiences. Conveyed with positive emotion, they are a great teaching tool.

Share your success stories, but be open about the idea that you are still closing the gap in some areas of your life. We are all in that state of incompleteness; we will never get it all done. There is no need to be defensive or guarded about those areas of your life where there is a gap between desires and current manifestations.

Timing

If you listen to your intuition and wait for your alignment, you will know the right time to initiate a sharing. Don't share when your subject is "down in the dumps" or way out of alignment. Never share in an argumentative fashion. Never say, "I told you so." You can sense readiness on the part of your subject.

Be Creative

Above all, let universal creativity shine through you. Share directly from your inner being as much as possible. Making sharing a natural part of your life.
